The following table gives the starting time for each yacht in the fleet for each of the three possible race formats. You don’t need to know them all; just be aware of your own. The number gives the time in minutes after the starting hooter that you must delay before crossing the start line. The starter/timer will be watching from the box. The finish is in the order that each boat crosses the finish line. It makes no difference whether you beat another competitor by five seconds or five minutes.
